Subscription Terms

Version 2026-09-16

These terms describe RackReel's desktop software, paid subscriptions and account service, provided by Interconnected Pty Ltd, Australia.

Using RackReel

RackReel detects candidate shots in pool footage and lets you review, trim and export highlights. Detection is not guaranteed to find every shot or boundary correctly, especially with moving cameras, cutaways or occlusion. Review the result before exporting and keep backups of original footage. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to edit, share and publish your footage. Your footage remains yours.

Prices include applicable taxes calculated at checkout. Annual subscriptions are charged in full once each year, not in monthly instalments. Your bank may charge currency-conversion or other fees separately. The checkout page shows the amount and billing interval before you confirm a purchase.

Accounts, payment and renewal

Create an account before purchasing and keep access to its email address. Google sign-in is optional. Payments and subscriptions are managed through Stripe; Interconnected Pty Ltd is the seller. Company branding may appear on receipts and card statements.

Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the selected monthly or yearly interval until cancelled. By confirming checkout, you authorise the initial charge and recurring charges on that basis. If a payment fails, paid features may become unavailable when existing paid access expires. We do not grant a new paid period merely because an invoice was issued.

Changing or cancelling a plan

Upgrades take effect after the required payment succeeds, with a prorated charge shown before confirmation. Downgrades take effect at the next renewal; your current paid features remain available through the paid period. Review the effective date and amount shown in the change confirmation before proceeding.

You can cancel renewal through your account's billing management. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period, after which the account returns to Free. Cancelling does not delete local videos or already exported highlights. If you cannot access billing management, contact support@interconnected.au for assistance.

Licence and offline use

A paid account may activate two computers at a time. The licence lets you use RackReel; it does not transfer ownership of the software or permit resale or sharing of account credentials or licence keys. You can remove a computer from your account to release its activation slot.

Paid offline access lasts up to seven days after verification, and never beyond the paid subscription's expiry. An internet connection is required periodically to renew access. Removing a device or replacing a key may not invalidate an offline licence until that licence expires. Without valid paid access, the Free export restrictions apply.

Refunds and your consumer rights

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable Australian Consumer Law guarantees. If the software or service has a problem, contact support with your account email and a description so we can investigate and provide the remedy required by applicable law, which may include repair, replacement, refund or cancellation.

Cancellation of renewal does not automatically refund earlier charges. Requests for refunds, duplicate charges or billing mistakes can be sent to support; your statutory rights remain unaffected. These terms do not impose a blanket no-refunds rule.

Availability, misuse and changes

We maintain and update the software and account service, but uninterrupted availability or compatibility with every video or computer is not promised. Contact support if an outage or defect prevents use of a paid feature. Do not attempt unauthorised access, bypass licence checks or use the service unlawfully.

We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to address fraud, a security threat or material misuse. Where appropriate, we will explain the restriction and provide a way to contact support to resolve it. Any statutory refund or other remedy remains available.

We will give advance notice of material subscription or price changes before they affect a future renewal, so you can decide whether to continue. Changes do not remove accrued consumer rights or retrospectively change a completed purchase.
